protein strawberry sorbet

When you bump into an old friend and they share their recipes with you.. good things happen.  Thanks Tommy!


  • 15 strawberries, sliced in half & frozen
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup egg whites
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup of ice


Place the strawberries, protein powder, egg whites and honey in your blender.  Blend them on high for about 3 minutes.  Add the ice and blend for additional 2 minutes.

Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for 4 hours.  Scoop and serve immediately.  Store leftovers in freezer.

Yields 6 servings.

Optional:  I mixed in an additional 5 finely chopped strawberries after I blended the mixture (prior to freezing) for some texture.
