fresh mango margaritas


For the special day of Cinco de Mayo manana.  Since we’re using fresh fruit here, these turned out EXCELLENT.  The sweet mango and tequila match up quite nicely.


  • 2 cups diced fresh mango
  • 1/3 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 2 heaping cups ice cubes


Throw everything into your blender and pulse until smooth.

Take a lime wedge and run it along the rim of your glasses.  Then dip the top of each glass into a plate of sea salt.

Pour margaritas into your glasses and garnish with wedge of lime.  Drink up immediately and make more!

Yields 2-4 servings.


I also made these “virgin” style and they were fantastic.  I subbed in 1 cup coconut water for the tequila and lemonade for the triple sec.
