The ideal summer burger for grilling. Really easy to throw together with amazing taste. Just perfect with some drinks in the backyard or on the patio.
I also made mine extra spicy with some sautéed sliced jalapeños and onion (seasoned with garlic powder, salt & pepper).
- 1/2 lb chorizo sausage (3 links)
- 1 lb ground turkey
- salt & pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients, in a large bowl, using your hands to fully incorporate. Form your mixture into burger patties (I had to lightly coat my hands with olive oil since my mixture was sticky). Place on wax paper. Heat a grill pan on medium high heat. When hot, place patties on pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side; or until cooked through.
Yields 5 burgers.

- Sliced tomato
- Romaine Lettuce
- Sauteed Jalapeños and Onion (seasoned with garlic powder, salt & pepper)
