best red wine sangria

A fantastic beverage that is the perfect answer to all summer cocktail issues — or winter, spring or fall.  Refreshing and the best part is eating the liquor-soaked-fruit at the bottom of the glass.  LOVE me some sangria.  I definitely need to get on the road of trying the white wine sangria recipe.  I have always made it this way and feel like I may be missing out on something.  Let me know if you prefer white over red and why, in the comments section below.


  • 1 bottle Pinot Nior
  • 1 oz. triple sec
  • 1 oz. peach schnapps
  • 2 oz. Bacardi Limon
  • 2 oz. Stoli Raspberry
  • 1 can Fresca (or Sprite)
  • 1 peach, peeled & diced
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced


Combine all ingredients in a pitcher.  Allow to stand overnight (in the fridge).. or serve right away.

Add some ice into each glass right before serving.
